Know what breaks first.
True black swans can't be predicted. What you can measure is how much pressure your business takes before it gives way. We call the scenarios preshocks: the tremors that show up in a manufacturer's books before the big one hits. Pick one, choose how hard it hits, and see what it does to your cash.

What to do now
How this is calculated
Four numbers your banker will ask about.
The month cash runs out
The first month in which cash plus undrawn CC/OD falls below zero under the preshock. If it never does within 24 months, you'll see "No gap".
How long you have
Months from today until that gap. Under six months is flagged in red, since that leaves little time to arrange funding.
Can you still service debt?
EBITDA after the profit the preshock takes away, divided by annual debt service, compared with the covenant in your sanction letter.
What's left at month 12
Cash plus undrawn limit a year out. Drawing power is 75% of stock plus 60% of receivables, capped at your sanctioned limit.
A tough stretch
A tough but plausible stretch, such as customers paying 15 days later or a 15% festive miss. You can see the exact size on each button.
Pushed further
The same preshock at roughly double the intensity, the kind of year promoters remember.
Your breaking point
A reverse stress test: it searches for the smallest preshock that opens a cash gap within 12 months.
Assumptions. The baseline assumes business-as-usual cash flows balance out, so the readout isolates the effect of the preshock. Working-capital effects build up over one to six months depending on the preshock; GST input credit is taken at 18% of purchases; overdue receivables are treated as ineligible for drawing power. With your Tally books connected, the inputs come from your own ledgers rather than estimates. These results are decision support, not financial advice.
