This policy explains what personal data BlackSwan Foresight collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.

Who we are

BlackSwan Foresight is based in Bengaluru, India. In this policy, "we" means BlackSwan Foresight. You can reach us at shankar.dv@blackswanconsulting.in.

What we collect

When you use this website

• Answers you give in the AI-readiness assessment, and the name, email address and company you provide with it.
• Messages you send us by email.

When you become a client

• The Tally or accounting data you share, which can include names of your customers, suppliers and employees as they appear in your ledgers.
• Contact details of the people we work with at your company.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, send your assessment result and arrange a discovery call.
• To produce forecasts, readouts and recommendations for your business, and for no other client.
• To keep the service secure and working.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use client data to train any public or shared AI model.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the service, such as our website host and form provider (Netlify), our email provider and our AI model provider. They may use the data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data where Indian law requires it.

Where it is stored and for how long

We keep website enquiries only as long as needed to follow up on them. Client data is kept for the length of the engagement and deleted at the end of it or earlier on request, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Where client data is stored is agreed in writing before any data is shared.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent you have given. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Email shankar.dv@blackswanconsulting.in and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Grievances

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, contact our grievance officer, Shankar (Founder & CEO), at shankar.dv@blackswanconsulting.in. If we do not resolve your concern, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Significant changes will be notified to clients by email.
